First entry

I've read so many lives, so many tales. I think my life is mundane in comparison. I stare at your printed words, thoughts and ideas broken down from the 1's and 0's and translated to experiences and emotions, and I feel empty inside. I thought I'd give it a try. Perhaps this will work out, or like many of the hobbies and activities I've picked up over the years it will pass and my only reminder will be the occasional email reminder of an attempt that once was.

I became "that girl" on Saturday. You know who I am talking about. "That girl," the one at the party who had too many drinks, or to many lines, perhaps just too much party. It is unfortunate that Halloween is a Monday this year. We are all forced to celebrate it two days early so we can wake up fresh on Tuesday so we can sit at our desks and make our quota of responsibility. (Eight hours a day five days a week, did I really dream of a job like this when I was filling glasses for sorry Guido's and thugs in those terrible clubs on a Saturday night?) But Saturday in Manhattan was full of 20 somethings in costume pretending for one night that we had the ability to move a holiday as we so pleased.

I should have eaten dinner, or at least some snack type product. I should have sipped my liquor from a cup instead of chugging it from the bottle like the party animal I'm not.

I blacked out in the living room, I think it was a slutty stewardess that helped me up. (Mean Girls was right, Halloween is just a sorry excuse for girls to dress up like the sluts they imagine themselves to be when they dance half naked in front of the mirror imagining their lives were just a little more interesting or dangerous then they actually are.)
I woke up the couch as some random Supergirl dragged my inebriated ass out to the patio to find someone I may have known so that I could become some one else's problem.

Three trips to the toilet later swaying as I sat on the bathtub floor as hot water streamed the black goo of costume makeup and mascara into the slits of my eyelids I realized that perhaps its a good thing that Halloween is on a Monday this year.
